HEAVEN PARALEJO
ARTIST OF THE MONTH
The pandemic became a time of self-reflection for Heaven, sparking a creative resurgence as she reconnected with her love for painting. Rediscovering her passion for visual art, she began crafting starry, nature-inspired pieces—a hobby she first fell in love with back in 2016 when she painted a special birthday gift for her mother.
EMPOWERED WOMEN
Elizabeth Oropesa
A late bloomer in painting, Elizabeth began her artistic journey just seven years ago. A diver and underwater photographer, she draws inspiration from the sea, often creating surreal, abstract works that capture the fluidity and mystery of life underwater. Her art features organic forms that evoke the fleeting nature of dreams. Beyond her passion for art, Elizabeth is also a licensed hypnotherapist with a PhD in Alternative Medicine from Edgar Cayce University in Virginia.
Mickey Ferriols
A Christian actor, businesswoman, mother, and self-taught contemporary visual artist. Specializing in florals and figures, her art reflects God's glory, a passion she nurtured since childhood with her mother's support. Inspired by Caravaggio, Rembrandt, and Bouguereau, Mickey views painting as her personal "meeting place" with God, where she finds peace and freedom.
Nadia Montenegro
A versatile Filipino actor who turned to art as a way to unwind. Alongside her acting career, she’s an author, speaker, vlogger, Political Affairs Officer, representative for Senator Padilla, and a Philippine Navy reservist. A mother of eight and skilled caterer, Nadia has also curated art exhibits for celebrity artists, including the collective Artists as Artists. Her artwork is inspired by personal experiences, which she beautifully transforms into creative expressions.
